In the past few years I have been ordering a lot of blu rays through Amazon, as I collect a lot of old horror classics which never get released here in Australia. Or if they do, seem to take forever.

I normally check first to see if they are region free or not through http://www.blurayreg...x.php?page=info and so far i've probably got over 100 blu rays that have been fine.

Recently, I got 2 that are region locked to A and wouldn't work on my Aussie PS3 Region B. Until I found some posts on possible workarounds. When you get the "Region Mismatch" error, hit the green triangle button then click on TOP MENU.

It will either say "Bad Operation" or, it will jump straight into the movie bypassing the region lock. Supposedly it works with all FOX blu rays. I have 2 blu rays which are region locked. Halloween 2 (2009) Alliance release, it did not work. But, I got the new Blu for Basket Case from Image Entertainment which is region locked. And it worked, now I can watch it through my PS3.

So, anyone here who has a PS3 and has some region locked movies bought by mistake, give it a go, it might work for you.
