Not much activity in this forum but lets give it a shot. I have a old PSP that was modded about 2 years ago. Obviously when I went to try to use it now, nothing relly works. Is anyone aware of a tutorial on how to update to the newest firmware? Also, since it has not been updated in so long, do I need to update it steps to the most current or step the firmware?

Turn on the PSP.
Go to the "Settings" menu (it's the one farthest to the left).
Scroll down to the "System Settings" icon and press X.
Scroll down to "System Information" and press X.
The screen will display the PSP's MAC address, system software version, and nickname. The "System Software Version" is the firmware version.

Right best thing is to follow what brownienz did here CFW 6.35 PRO-B3

but unlike the your current cfw, you will have to launch the launcher every time you power up i think.
