Great news!
There has been a new tool released to jailbreak Apple’s favorite devices. The new jailbreak is called the Spirit Jailbreak. This jailbreak is designed to work on the 3.1.2 and the 3.1.3 firmware.
But want to know the best part? It works on the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
Even better news? It is NOT a tethered jailbreak.
I have tested this jailbreak on an iPhone 3gs, and an iPad 3g personally, and both have resulted in successful jailbreaks. In fact, using this simply could not be easier. To perform the jailbreak, all that is needed is to download the Spirit Jailbreak application (link below). Once downloaded to your computer, plug in the device you want to jailbreak, then start the Spirit Jailbreak application. It will detect the device that is plugged into your computer. Once you do this, hit the jailbreak button, and you’re done!
One of the easiest jailbreaks I have seen in quite some time. Give it a shot, and have fun jailbreaking!
